Cement deep mixing (CDM) improves soft ground by mechanically mixing in-situ soil with cement grout to form high-strength columns that pass through the soft layer down to the bearing stratum. It suits road embankments, bridge approaches, airports, ports, logistics yards, factories and deep excavation stabilisation.
Kien Quoc operates Nippon Sharyo and Kobelco deep mixing rigs together with matched batching plants and high-pressure grout pumps, allowing several work fronts to run simultaneously with consistent quality.
Every project includes trial columns, coring and compression tests to verify strength before full production, in accordance with TCVN 9403:2012 (superseding TCXDVN 385:2006).
Scope of work
- Column diameter 600 – 1,200 mm, treatment depth up to 20 m
- Deep mixing and high-pressure jet grouting technologies
- Quality control by trial columns, coring and unconfined compression tests
- Automatic grout batching with a construction log for every column
How we deliver
- 1
Investigation & mix design
Sample the site soil and run trial mixes to select the optimum cement content.
- 2
Trial columns
Install 3 – 5 trial columns, core and test at 7, 14 and 28 days.
- 3
Production works
Install to the layout drawing, logging grout pressure, flow rate and withdrawal speed.
- 4
Verification & handover
Random coring, compression tests and as-built documentation.
